A lot of summer knits end up feeling flimsy or losing their shape by noon. We pulled this yellow ribbed V-neck knit top into the lineup specifically for its architectural seaming. Notice the distinct horizontal band right under the bust—it functions almost like a soft corset. It switches up the ribbed texture to define your waistline sharply before stopping exactly at the hip bone.
The high-stretch viscose and polyester blend is dense enough to hold you in, but it won't suffocate you on a humid afternoon. The deep plunging neckline on this short sleeve slim fit sweater is visually sharp, which cuts through the inherent sweetness of the pastel yellow color. Because the worsted knit texture is so heavy and pronounced, it begs for material contrast. Do what we did on set: tuck it into a liquid silk midi skirt, or balance the tight fit with a pair of ultra-baggy utility pants.
