I love this dress! It was advertised all over my instagram so I was skeptical of the site at first, but I am so glad I ordered this. I love the way it hugs my curves but it still has plenty of stretch so it’s easy to move in and I don’t have to worry on days I feel bloated. I am usually a M but sizes can be tricky around the bust as I am a 34F, but the medium fit perfectly and I can’t wait to wear this dress out and about!
Thick stretchy fabric, resembles a knit, sits nicely on the curves of the body. The straps have a tendency to sag and are not adjustable, so I might get them shortened. I can imagine wearing it for a summer dinner, or a add boots and a coat in winter.
I bought a medium because I’m relatively flat chested but have wide hips and I think if you’re not sure between sizes I would go for the bigger size because it’s a knit fabric… so if it’s over stretched you can kinda see a white-ish shine coming through from the cream threads on the reverse of the fabric. Looks a teeny bit over stretched even on my small boobs.
Doesn’t one star because the waves don’t match up at the seams which makes an otherwise glam dress look a bit cheaper.
Overall it doesn’t detract and for the price can’t really complain too much. I feel super pretty wearing this.
I bought two dresses from this site for an event, this one and another green one both in Medium. I’m a UK size 10-12 (US 6-8) with big boobs so although i generally fit a small i size up for dresses, and for this dress it was too big especially on the straps so I had to safety pin it and the fabric hangs loose but it still looked good on. The other dress from this same site was far to small in a medium so just bear in mind their sizes are not true and inconsistent across the site. My only other comment is that the swirls at the top of the dress are different to that in the model pic, originally I thought this was just my version of the dress but I have seen other photos of customers having a design the same as mine where instead of a swirl at the top, it’s closer to two lines which I didn’t like as much
It’s so flattering and perfectly sits over the knee. I’m about 5’8.
