Love the color combo of red and the plaid check, it's bold but still easy to style. The material is soft, almost has a slight brushed feel to it, great for cooler weather. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the sleeves run a little long on me, but I'm petite so that's probably just me. Quality feels solid, stitching looks clean throughout.
This blouse exceeded my expectations. The plaid pattern is crisp and well-aligned at the seams, which you don't always get with plaid pieces. The boat neck is really flattering, shows off the collarbone without feeling exposed. Fabric has a nice weight to it, not thin or see-through. I'm 5'5" and ordered a small, fits true to size. Already planning to wear it with jeans for casual days and tucked into a skirt for the office.
So cute, fit like A GLOVE. Quality was better than expected! 95% thick cotton!! I do wish I had a zipper somewhere instead of me having to button it and unbutton it every time.
I bought this thinking it would be a seasonal piece but it turns out it works across more occasions than I anticipated. The red plaid reads as casual with jeans, slightly more polished tucked into a midi skirt, and the boat neck keeps it from ever looking too laid-back. Fabric is comfortable all day with no irritation around the neckline — always my concern with boat neck cuts.
Plaid can go either way — it can look polished or it can look like a flannel shirt from a hardware store. This one is firmly in the first category. The red plaid pattern is well-balanced and the color combination is rich without being loud. Fabric feels smooth and slightly structured — it holds its shape through the day without stiffness or discomfort.
