The color is a really rich, deep blue — not navy, not royal, just a clean mid-blue that photographs beautifully. The satin fabric drapes well and doesn't wrinkle as easily as I expected. My one note is that it runs a little fitted through the hips; I'm usually a M but wished I had gone with L for a bit more comfort.

I was a little hesitant to order a satin dress online — fabric like this can look cheap in photos and feel worse in person. This was the opposite. The satin has a nice weight to it, not flimsy or plasticky, and the sheen is soft rather than overly shiny. The one-shoulder cut is flattering without feeling like it's trying too hard. Fit was true to size for me (L, 5'5") — snug enough to look polished but not uncomfortable to sit in all evening.

We mainly use natural fabircs like cotton and eco-friendly linen, and nature-sourced man-made fabrics like quality viscose and polyester. At Rihoas, we need our fabrics to be flattering as well as comfortable.
