Brunch Dresses
The get-up-and-go kind of dress — florals, slip styles, and soft prints in midi and maxi lengths that look like you tried but didn't have to. Most of these are polyester or cotton blends, so they're lightweight enough for warm-weather brunches and don't wrinkle in transit. $35–$53.
What makes a good brunch dress
There's a very specific energy to a brunch dress — it has to be nicer than what you'd wear to the grocery store, but not so dressed up that you feel out of place at a table full of mimosas and avocado toast. Most of what's in this collection lives in that sweet spot: midi and maxi lengths in prints and colors that feel weekend-appropriate without trying too hard.
If you're looking for pattern, we've leaned heavily into florals here — they make up the majority of the collection, in blue, pink, green, red, and black base colors. There are also a few solid options in satin (the green and blue satin slips) if you want something a little more minimalist.
A few things worth knowing
Length-wise, this collection runs long. If you typically prefer above-the-knee, you'll find more options in our mini dresses or date night picks. But if a midi or maxi is what you're after, you're in the right place — almost everything here falls between knee-length and ankle.
Fabric-wise, most of the dresses here are polyester or blended — which is actually ideal for brunch season. They're lighter than cotton, hold their shape through a long sit-down meal, and don't show wrinkles if you've been in the car for an hour. The few cotton and cotton-linen pieces are heavier and more structured — they breathe better in real heat, but expect to steam them before wearing.
Sleeve options range from sleeveless and spaghetti straps (the slip styles) to cap sleeves, puffed sleeves, and butterfly sleeves. If your brunch spot has aggressive air conditioning — and they all do — a slip dress with a light cardigan is probably your safest bet.
Goes well with
Most of the midi and maxi dresses here work with flat sandals, block-heel mules, or even sneakers if you're walking there. For a dressier brunch — birthdays, showers — try the lace styles or chiffon options with a small bag and earrings. If you want a complete look, check our vacation dresses — there's a lot of overlap with this collection, but with a few more resort-specific pieces mixed in.
