(my third review/same beginning) I was sceptical about the sizing as the regular sizing chart vs the product sizing chart differs for each product and usually has much smaller measurements listed. But seeing as others were ordering clothes their own size. I did the same for all 3 of the different dresses I ordered.
I ordered an L on this, and when I put it on it was quite loose fitting, an M would definitely cinch my waist more, and I think I could even wear an S. This was not a deal breaker because the dress is still tailored with its own shape (the panel under the bust above the waist) so because of this I have not lost my waist in this dress.
It is not adjustable, but the zip is on the side and quite long so you could definitely squeeze yourself into a smaller size if you don't have overly large chest or extra weight in the abdominal area. This dress can also be very slimming to any weight category if you order your true size.
I am usually a EU40/UK12 in all my clothes, average build, no extra weight in the abdominal area.
