Autumn Hues
What's actually in this collection
Autumn Hues is where we put the pieces that feel like fall — not because of a calendar date, but because of the fabrics and colors. You'll find a lot of knitwear here: the Cable Knit Crew Sweater in white is one of our most reviewed pieces (and it's chunky without being bulky). The Floral See-Through Knitwear is lighter — more of a September layer than a December one.
The tweed section is worth a look if you're into that vintage-prep aesthetic. The Burgundy Tweed Jacket is a bestseller and pairs with basically everything in the collection — the matching Burgundy Tweed Skirt if you want a set, or any of the knit tops for something more casual.
We also have sweater dresses that range from simple (the Contrast Stitch Mini in viscose) to more statement-y (the Mermaid Sweater Maxi). Both are viscose-based, which means they drape nicely and don't cling the way some synthetic knits do.
Fabric notes
Since this collection is heavy on knitwear, a few things to know:
- The viscose pieces (sweater dresses, most knit tops) are soft and breathable but should be hand-washed or cold-washed to keep their shape.
- Cotton pieces like the Dark Green Textured Knit Top are more durable and can handle a regular wash cycle.
- Tweed jackets and skirts are structured — they won't stretch out. Order your usual size.
If you're putting together a full autumn outfit, the easiest formula from this collection: one knit top + one tweed or plaid bottom + ankle boots. The color palette is designed to mix and match across the whole collection, so you really can't go wrong.
What's the warmth level on the knitwear — can I wear it into winter?
Most of the knit tops here are mid-weight — great for fall and early winter layering, but probably not warm enough on their own for deep winter. The cable-knit sweaters are the heaviest. The see-through and sheer knit styles are purely decorative layers — plan to wear something underneath.
Do the tweed pieces come as sets?
The burgundy tweed jacket and burgundy tweed skirt are sold separately, but they're designed to match. Same fabric, same color. We also have solid-tone tweed options (jacket and skirt separately) if you want a more neutral version. Mix-and-match across colors works too.
I'm between sizes — how does the knitwear fit?
Our knit tops tend to fit snug since the fabric has natural stretch. If you like a more relaxed look, size up. The sweater dresses are more forgiving — the viscose ones especially have a nice drape that accommodates a range of fits. Tweed is structured with no stretch, so go true to size or size up if you want layering room underneath.
