Such a beautiful dress. The cowl neck is the detail that makes it — it adds elegance and a softness that balances the mini length really well. The yellow is a golden, honey tone rather than a sharp primary yellow, which makes it much more wearable than I initially expected. Satin quality is impressive and the fabric moves gracefully. My one note is that the cowl neckline requires a strapless or adhesive bra — worth planning your undergarments ahead of time. That aside, I wore it to a birthday dinner and felt confident and polished all evening.
I was nervous about yellow but this shade is absolutely stunning in person — warm and luminous without being too bold. The cowl neck drapes perfectly and gives the dress an effortlessly glamorous feel. Satin fabric is smooth and has a beautiful sheen that catches the light in the most flattering way. The mini length is well-proportioned and the overall silhouette is sleek without being tight. I wore it to a cocktail party and felt like the most dressed person in the room without trying too hard. Exceeded every expectation.
