True to size. There is absolutely zero stretch so if you’re bustier or between sizes I’d say go up. I have to purchase for my bust/hip size so I went up to a large and I’m not sorry. Completely unlined as well. You see through all the eyelets. The fabric itself isn’t see-through though. I’ve got a short slip that works perfectly for this dress but as long as you’re wearing nude toned underwear beneath this you should be fine. I definitely can’t go bra-less because of the eyelets. You see the change in skin tone through them.
I’m on the shorter side with wide hips/larger bust and the dress sits nice on me with the hem falling 4-5 inches above my ankles. Usually I have to shorten the hem on mid-length dresses to make them mid-length on me but not so much on this one. Light and airy, the shoulder puffs are the perfect amount of puff not too puffy and making this dress feel puritanical. Definitely recommend.
