I wore this dress to a wedding on a hot summer day and didn’t get too hot unlike the people around me. The linen breaths wonderfully. I was happy that I could wear a normal bra in this dress without anything showing. It fits a little bigger in the bust area which was actually perfect for me. The buttons are sewed on pretty loosely and the zipper can be tricky to do up, but other than that it’s perfect! I especially appreciated the pockets.
The dress is a bit long on the skirt area but I had predicted that would be the case for me. I'm very short so it reaches my ankles rather than below the knees. I knew I had to shorten it to my liking so I'm not at all disappointed. I'm happy because everything else; bodice, straps, etc, go where they have to go. I can even wear it without a bra because the chest area is strong and supportive. I love the fabric!
